Equipment

  • Hand Mixer
  • Scale
  • Mixing bowls
  • Spatula

Ingredients

  • 2.94 ounce | 49% Whipped Soap Base
  • 3.01 ounce | 50.25% Granulated Sugar
  • Orange Mica Powder
  • Red Mica Powder
  • 0.04 ounce | 0.75% Fragrance Oil

Instructions

  • Measure out all of your ingredients.
  • Add your whipped soap base to a mixing container.
  • Mix well with a hand mixer, until it is smooth and fluffy. (You will want to mix for at least 60 seconds).
  • Slowly add the sugar, mixing well as you add it. You will want to take your time with this to ensure it whips up nice.
  • Add your fragrance oil and mix well.
  • Separate the mixture in two equal sections.
  • In one half of the sections, add orange mica powder and mix well.
  • Scoop the orange whipped sugar scrub mixture into a piping bag or a sandwich bag. ( I find it is a little easier to manage if you put the baggie in a cup while you fill it).
  • In the other half of the whipped soap, add red mica powder. Mix well.
  • Scoop the red whipped sugar scrub mixture into a piping bag or a sandwich bag
  • Cut the corner of both sandwich bags. It is best to make the cut smaller than what you think, it will squeeze out pretty easily.
  • Pipe the sugar scrub into your container, with the orange on one side and the pink on the other.
