DIY Hair Mask To Strengthen And Soften Hair

Ingredients

Oil Phase

  • 0.05 ounce | 5% BTMS 50
  • 0.03 ounce | 3% Caster Oil
  • 0.46 ounce | 46% Coconut Oil
  • 0.10 ounce | 10% Shea Butter
  • 0.32 ounce | 32% Olive Oil

Cool Down

  • 0.01 ounce | 1% Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein
  • 0.02 ounce | 2% Vegekeratin
  • 0.01 ounce | 1% Fragrance Oil or Essential Oil

Instructions

  • Weight out all of your ingredients.
  • Place the oil phase ingredients into a heat safe container.
  • Put it on a double boiler until completely melted, stirring regularly.
  • Remove from heat and pour the melted oils into a mixing container.
  • Mix with your immersion blender.
  • Place in the freezer for 10 minutes to cool. After it has been in the freezer for about 5 minutes, pull it out and mix well. You will want to scrape off the sides too.
  • Remove from the freezer and mix again with immersion blender.
  • Add your cool down ingredients.
  • Mix again with the immersion blender.
  • Allow to full cool, this will normally take about an hour. I will give the mixture a good mix a few times while it is cooling. This is just to ensure everything is mixed up good.
  • Bottle and enjoy!
