Foaming Hand Wash

This homemade foaming hand wash was formulated to be super easy to make. For me, I tend to find everything a bit intimating until I have made it a few times. I like to start by making a super easy recipe, then slowly start expanding it until it suits my needs.

Ingredients

  • 6.08 ounce | 64% Distilled Water
  • 0.95 ounce | 10% Vegetable Glycerin
  • 1.43 ounce | 15% Cocamidopropyl Betaine
  • 0.48 ounce | 5% Coco Glucoside
  • 0.48 ounce | 5% Berry Merry Christmas Fragrance Oil
  • 0.10 ounce | 1% Optiphen Preservative

Instructions

  • Weigh out all your ingredients.
  • Put the distilled water into your mixing container.
  • Add vegetable glycerin to the water and mix will.
  • Add cocamidopropyl betaine and mix carefully to prevent bubbles.
  • Add coco glucoside and mix.
  • Add fragrance oil and mix.
  • Add preservative and mix.
  • Add 1-2 drops of liquid colorant and mix.
  • Bottle and enjoy.
