Homemade Love Spell Incense
Making homemade incense is super easy and only requires two ingredients. The thing that I love most about making my own, is I am able to get incense scented with fragrances that you cannot find anywhere. For these incense, I used Love Spell fragrance oil. That scent always reminds my of my mom, she was obsessed with that scent.

- 2 ounce 67% DPG
- 1 ounce 33% Love Spell Fragrance Oil
Instructions
Prepare the Fragrance Base
- Add 1 part fragrance oil to 2 parts DPG and mix well. I used 1 ounce Love Spell fragrance oil and 2 ounce DPG for my container. The container that I am using is quite large, but you need to make sure that your container is long enough to fit the incense laying down flat.
Soak
- Place your unscented incense sticks into the fragrance base. You are going to want to make sure that they are completely immersed in the fragrance mixture. I found that when I lay the incense in sideways, they absorb the most fragrance mixture. They just fit a little better that way. After you have placed the incense in the container, you are going to cover the container with plastic wrap and allow it to soak for at least 24 hours.
Dry
- Remove the incense sticks from the fragrance mixture. Place them across the container and allow them to dry for at least 2 days. You could also use a drying rack or the foam that is used in fake flowers. It is important that air is able to get to the sticks for them to dry. You can not just lie them down on a paper towel because it will soak up a lot of the fragrance and they will not dry properly.
Storing
- To store your homemade incense just put them in an air tight container. I like to take the bag that they came in and store them right in there. You could also wrap them in saran wrap.
