Massage Bars With Tapioca Pearls

Massage bars are like a lotion but in solid form. They are solid at room temperature, but melt when it touches your skin. I decided to put these in a container to make them a little easier to use and allow you to take the bars on the go. The tapioca pearls really add to the massage and can help boost circulation.

Equipment

  • Double boilet
  • Heat Safe Container

Ingredients

  • 0.57 ounce | 28.5% Beeswax
  • 0.10 ounce | 5% Mango Butter
  • 0.57 ounce | 28.5% Shea Butter
  • 0.70 ounce | 35% Hazelnut Oil
  • 0.06 ounce | 3% Monkey Farts Fragrance Oil
  • Tapioca Pearls

Instructions

  • Weigh out all of your ingredients.
  • Place the beeswax, shea butter, and hazelnut oil in a heat safe container.
  • Melt on a double boiler until completely melted.
  • When you remove the container from the heat safe container, be sure to wipe of the edges so there is no water on the outside.
  • Add the mango butter and mix until melted.
  • Add the monkey farts fragrance oil and mix well.
  • Pour into your container.
  • Allow the massage bar to cool slightly, then add the tapioca pearls. They will want to fall to the bottom of the container, so be careful when placing them. I find that it is easier when you put them on the side of the container.
  • Let cool and enjoy.
