Sea Salt Hair Spray

My hair does not like to cooperate with anything until I use a sea salt hair spray. I guess my hair just needs a little grit to do anything but lay perfectly flat. I formulated this sea salt spray to give my hair that grit, while combating the salts drying effects.

Ingredients

  • 7.92 ounce | 88% Distilled Water
  • 0.36 ounce | 4% Sea Salt
  • 0.09 ounce 1% Aloe Vera Powder
  • 0.09 ounce 1% Collagen Protein Powder
  • 0.14 ounce | 1.5% Vegetable Glycerin
  • 0.18 ounce | 2% Argon Oil
  • 0.18 ounce | 2% Polysorbate 80
  • 0.05 ounce | 0.5% Preservative

Instructions

  • Weigh out all of your ingredients.
  • Put the sea salt into your distilled water.
  • Place the water / salt mixture on a double boiler until the sea salt is fully dissolved into the water. (This shouldn't take more than a minute or two).
  • Put the salt water into a mixing container with a pouring spout.
  • Add aloe vera powder and collagen protein to the salt water.
  • Mix well.
  • Add the vegetable glycerin and mix.
  • Mix together the argon oil and polysorbate and add to water mixture.
  • Mix well.
  • Pour into spray top bottle.
