Hard Oil Phase
- 1.40 ounce | 35% Shea Butter
- 1.40 ounce | 35% Coconut Oil
Soft Oil Phase
- 1.12 ounce | 28% Olive Oil
- 0.02 ounce | .5% Tapioca Starch
Cool Down Phase
- 0.06 ounce | 1.5% Fragrance Oil
Melt the hard oil phase ingredients in a heat safe container.
Mix the soft oil phase ingredients together in a bowl.
When the hard oil phase is melted, add to soft oil phase and mix well.
Place in freezer until the sides are solid and the middle is opaque. If you are not sure you can take it out and try to whip it. Just put it back in the freezer if it is not solidified enough.
Whip it. Normally I start bu removing everything from the edges of the container. Then I whip it with an electric whisk.
Add fragrance and color if desired. Then whip it more. This is how it should look when you are done whipping.
Place in container and enjoy! Again, be sure not to leave it in the heat as it will melt.
