This fizzy bath bomb recipe combines skin-softening baking soda, moisturizing shea butter, and soothing kaolin clay for a spa-like soak. Enhanced with fragrance and topped with whipped soap and a heart-shaped soap embed, it’s a fun, functional treat for your bath!

Mix Dry Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, whisk together baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch, and kaolin clay until fully combined.

Add Wet Ingredients

  • Gently melt the shea butter in a double boiler.
  • Add the shea butter, fragrance oil and Polysorbate 80 to the dry mixture and mix well.

Spray with Witch Hazel

  • Lightly spritz the mixture with witch hazel, a little at a time, mixing constantly until it reaches a damp sand consistency.

Mold

  • Pack the mixture firmly into your molds. Let dry for 24–48 hours before decorating or using.
