This is something that I have been wanting to get up on the blog for sometime now! You will be able to use this template for resizing all of your current recipes and to create formulas moving forward.
Resizing a Current Recipe
Resizing a recipe can be kind of difficult when you are first starting out in making cosmetics. To simplify it for you, just use this spreadsheet.
You will need to put in the spreadsheet what your “Desired Weight” is and the current weight of each ingredient. The spreadsheet will automatically re-size it for you.
Creating a Formula
When you are ready to start creating your own body care, you will want to learn how to create a formula, not a recipe. I go more in depth on this topic in my Convert A Formula to A Recipe post.
You will notice that in all of my recipes, I provide you with both the recipe and the formula. When you are creating your own, they should always be as a formula. This way, you can easily resize it.
