The thing is, when you exfoliate, you are naturally going to make your skin softer because your getting rid of the dead skin cells. The key to exfoliating is to do it one to two times per day. You are going to gently use the scrub, you should never be pushing down with pressure or you can damage your skin.
Just be sure to always follow up with a moisturizer after using a sugar scrub.
Sugar
The exfoliator in this scrub is white granulated sugar. I love how delicate sugar is at exfoliating and how it melts a little as you use it.
Soap
We are going to use a Whipped Soap Base to make this a cleansing scrub. The whipped soap base is going to be pretty hard when you first open it, so you will want to give this a good mix with a hand mixer to get it back to a light and fluffy consistency.
If you would like to make your own, check out this Whipped Soap Base Recipe.
Fragrance
For the fragrance I went with Pumpkin Party Fragrance Oil, which has notes of tart cranberries with savory pumpkin spice. Seriously, it smells like fall time. You can use it in a soap up to 3.65%.
