This jojoba salt scrub has some strong exfoliating game. It is formulated to start out with a lot of exfoliating and then your left with a very light exfoliating from the jojoba beads. It is ridiculously easy to customize with different colors and fragrances.

Using your hand scrub
To use the jojoba salt scrub, just put a bit on your hands. Add a touch of water and lightly rub the mixture on your skin. You never want to apply pressure, just gently rubbing will give you plenty of exfoliating. Then rinse. It really is that easy!
Just a quick note on storage, since we did not add any preservative, you want to be sure not to store where it could get water in the container or dip wet hands into it. When I take it in the shower, I normally just take a bowl of it with me.
Jojoba Salt Scrub Ingredients
Sea Salt
The sea salt is going to be the main exfoliator in this recipe. When you are choosing your sea salt, be sure that you use a fine grain. I had a course grain and put it in my mortal and pestle to make it a fine grain. The reason you want it fine, is that you don’t want to be using anything that is going to be abrasive and damaging to your skin.
Sweet Almond Oil
I choose sweet almond oil because it is a light weight oil and it helps to lock in moisture. This can be easily swapped out for any oil that you have on hand.
Polysorbate 80
We use polysorbate 80 to make this an easy to rinse off product. Right, because you don’t want to be left with a film of oil on your skin when your done. Also, without it, in the shower, it would probably be quite slippery. Feel free to swap this out for any carrier oil that you have on hand.
Champagne Fragrance Oil
I cannot get over the face that the Champagne fragrance oil smells bubbly. But not like a weird bubbly, like a really really good bubbly smell. This can also be swapped out for another fragrance, just be sure to go by the manufactures recommendation for the use rate.
Jojoba Beads
Jojoba beads are the secondary exfoliator in this scrub. When you are using the scrub, you will notice that even after the salt has dissolved, the beads are still there. They are a milder exfoliator and last a lot longer. Plus, they really make the scrub look pretty.
