My hair does not like to cooperate with anything until I use a sea salt hair spray. I guess my hair just needs a little grit to do anything but lay perfectly flat. I formulated this sea salt spray to give my hair that grit, while combating the salts drying effects.

Sea Salt Hair Spray Ingredients
Distilled Water
You should always be using distilled water. The reason why it is important to use distilled water, is it is a pure water without the minerals. Tap water can be significantly different and can affect you finished product.
Sea Salt
Sea salt is great for creating separation, add texture and gives a bit of volume. Although salt is great for styling, it can be very drying on your hair.
Vegetable Glycerin
One way that we combat the drying effects of salt is with vegetable glycerin. Vegetable glycerin pulls water from the air, to your hair and holds it there.
Argon Oil
Argon oil is a great moisturizer for our hair because it is full of fatty acids that moisturize your hair.
Polysorbate 80
Since you have oil and water in this recipe, you need something to get them to mix together. Polysorbate 80 is great at getting oil to mix into water.
Aloe Vera Powder
Aloe vera is a great moisturizer and is packed with minerals that your hair will love.
Collagen Protein
Collagen Protein is good at forming a film around your hair and has moisturizing properties.
Preservative
Anytime you are formulating with water, it is essential that you use a preservative to prevent growing bacteria in your product. For a preservative, I used Germall Plus. Feel free to use a broad spectrum preservative of your choice. You can adjust the use rate (up or down) as recommended by the manufacturer.
