How to Measure Wax for a Candle (Easy Method)

Determining how much soy wax my container needs

To calculate how much wax you need for your container candle:

  1. Fill your jar with water (leave space for embeds)
  2. Weigh the water
  3. Multiply by 0.86

This gives you the correct amount of soy wax. For my jar I used 130 grams of soy wax.
